Tokyo, Shangai, Honk Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Las Vegas, London, Paris. These are just some of the places in the world where you can find the “Joel Robuchon Atelier“, a “pluri-starred” restaurant (it owns about 28 Michelin stars in 3 continents) where I had the chance to have dinner during one of my trips to Paris. The Atelier Etoile is at the feet of the Triumph Arc, in the under-stair vain of the luxurious Publicdrugstore.
This restaurant chain’s most typical feature is the absence of tables and obsequious waiters, replaced by a U-shaped big table that surrounds the visible kitchen. The environment, despite not being particularly elegant, is very refined and, even though there are no tables, it maintains a classy atmosphere. The dishes (which you should try in mini-portions in order to taste as many as possible) hold the secret to this restaurant’s fame and prove the chef’s revolutionary genius. For example the scallops, cooked with endive, lime and pink salt, will awake all of your senses, thanks to their bittersweet fragrance. And, moreover, if you travel to Paris, you must absolutely try their liver.
You surely must have guessed: what makes this restaurant unique is the attention to details! Everything is taken care of and the service is flawless. What are you waiting for? Fly to Paris and enjoy your tasty experience.
