Elegance, energy and innovation, the perfect combo for me! That is why I couldn’t miss a visit to the Hakkasan restaurant during my intense and exciting trip to London for the Suicide Squad premiere. As soon as you arrive in front of this place, which has its headquarters in a secluded alley
, you’ll probably be thinking: “Maria Vittoria Cusumano has lost her mind!”. But as soon you enter through the dark stairs you’ll be introduced
into a 1930’s Shangai inspired environment and feel just like in a movie. This restaurant has been awarded with Michelin stars for 13 years, which reveals its food’s quality and originality. And you know what was the best feeling I got in there? I felt like somehow this place’s cuisine manages to tighten intercultural bonds. In the menu, you’ll find dishes created by Ho CheeBoon. This chef is particularly faithful to traditions and therefore only uses fresh and zero-mileage products in order to create revisited and modernized typical Cantonese recipes.
Something you should try is either their roasted silver cod, cooked with champagne and honey, or their crispy duck salad. The atmosphere is quite intimate thanks to the presence of wooden screens and will even feel magic if you visit this place with your beloved one! The interior is in perfectly modern and ethnic style
