The collection DSquared2 presented during the sixth day of the Milan
Fashion Week was completely based on contrasts. The twins Dean and Dan Caten managed to elegantly mix the luxurious aspect and the underground atmosphere of New York in the 80’s. I’m talking about ripped jeans completely covered in Swarovski, blouses with shoulder pads, family crest and puff sleeves and finally jackets, that were right on the line between cool and kitsch. The show was sparkling (just like its creators) thanks to many ribbons and glitters. What I was completely crazy about, apart from the extremely down to earth designers and the beautifulimg_3773 Melissa Satta, were accessories, and most of all bags. I’m actually referring to micro bags, extremely tiny, but simply perfect! The event was amazing and perfectly coherent with the Milan Fashion Week’e atmosphere. Moreover I had the chance to meet another fashion blogger, Samantha De Raviziis. She’s the absolute best when talking about furs… and for sure we did see a lot of them (and very eccentric ones) on the DSquared2’s catwalk!
